About us

The Clinical Hypnosis Society of New Jersey (CHSNJ), founded in 1986, is a non-profit, professional organization of licensed healthcare providers who utilize hypnosis in the care of their patients.

Membership is open to physicians, psychologists, dentists, social workers, licensed professional counselors, and nurses. Membership is also currently open to chiropractors and nurse practitioners/physicians’ assistants who are licensed to practice independently.

CHSNJ is a Component Section of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) and complies with the Ethical Principles and Standards of ASCH and supports and abides by the following ASCH statement of diversity:

Stephen R. Lankton Scholarship Award
